About the lakes
The Norton Disney complex is Embryo Angling Habitat’s premiere day-ticket complex, offering fantastic fishing on 6 lakes across the 140 acre site. Simply turn up and pay on the day to enjoy your fishing.
With fish to 30lb+ in all 6 lakes and a complex record of over 47lb, the complex offers a fantastic experience for anglers of all abilities. Each lake offers its own angling experience; Pettitt’s and Holden’s are our two main specimen lakes, with a lower stock density and a larger average size. Turner’s and Billy’s are large lakes with very large stocks, where big hits of carp are on the cards, as well as a chance of a big fish. Meanwhile, Hodgetts’ Lake and Stock’s Lake are the easier lakes on the complex, ideal for anglers looking to hone their skills and get plenty of bites!
Since opening in 2019, the complex has thrived; the carp have grown substantially, the site has matured beautifully, and the fishery team are some of the best staff you’ll meet on a fishery – we all want you to have a great session, so don’t hesitate to ask for help!
There is a wealth of YouTube and media content about Norton Disney, the site has won numerous awards and has very much become a go-to destination for all aspiring day-ticket anglers.

- How to find us: Swinderby road/Butt Lane, Norton Disney, LN6 9QH.
- Nets, mats and slings are provided for anglers so do not bring your own onto site.
- Anglers must report to the lodge on arrival at the fishery.
- Swim choice is on a first come, first served basis with no pre-booking available.

Billy's Lake
A 27 acre gravel pit with a stock of over 1000 carp. The lake now holds a very good head of twenty and thirty pounders, making it a great option for those looking to catch a hit of carp and big fish too!

Hodgett's Lake
At 10 acres in size, Hodgett's is the second smallest lake on the complex, but it has a higher stocking density than any of the others, making it ideal for young or slightly less experienced anglers or those looking for a few bites!

Holden's Lake
A deep, 11 acre pit on the Norton Disney complex. Stocked with over 400 fish with the lake record currently standing at over 43lb!! The lake features several 'double swims' for those looking for a good social option with their friends.

Pettitt's Lake
A 16 acre gravel pit on the Norton Disney complex, currently holding fish to upper forties. With a huge head of thirty pounders and multiple over 40lb, it is considered the big fish lake of the complex.

Stock's Lake
This uniquely shaped, 8 acre pit is home to over 750 fish which have been caught to just over 30lb. With several 'double swims' and relatively short range fishing, it's ideal for socials and young or less experienced anglers alike.

Turner's Lake
An 18 acre lake on the Norton Disney complex, holding a big head of twenty pounders and a number of thirties to just shy of 40lb! Turner's has a fairly uniform lakebed so bait is often the best 'feature' in this lake.
